On January 13, 2012, University of South-East Asia, Siem Reap Province, Cambodia, signed an MOU with University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Mr. Rous Bunthy, Vice President of University of South-East Asia and TAN SRI DR. GHAUTH JASMON, Vice-Chancellor of University of Malaya signed the MOU in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Both universities agree as follows:

• Conduct of collaborative research projects
• Exchange of researchers, faculty, students, scholars and administrative staff
• Exchange of academic information and research publications
• Conduct of joint lectures, conferences, training and symposia
• Exchange of academic information materials, library cooperation
• Promotion of other academic cooperation as agreed by both universities and
• Sharing of other activities and programs in areas of mutual interest, where such sharing shall result in benefit to both parties
• Exchange of academic information materials, library cooperation

   During the MOU signing, both parties also discussed the following topics:

• Solar electricity research in Siem Reap province and graduate employability
• Hosting International conference in Siem Reap about The state’s Return to Business: Government-Linked Companies in the Post-Crisis Global Economy on 9-10 February 2012
