Ambarrukmo Tourism Academy or AKPRAM is a private higher education established on 13 September 2001under the Ambarrukmo Foundation. However, the status increased and became Ambarrukmo Tourism Institute or STIPRAM on 5 August 2008.
Ambarrukmo Foundation is a social institution in the field of education owned by PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (Inna Hotel Group), a government-owned company (BUMN) which manages 15 international standard hotels nationwide, a guarantee for the good quality of human resources and up-to-date learning materials in line with the development of the hotel industries and global tourism.
STIPRAM has 2 study programs: Hospitality (Bachelor Degree – S1) and Hotel Service (Diploma Degree – D3). Hospitality is an activity that supports the service industry, especially those activities related to tourism science.
Such tourism science activities cover the science for the hotel service industries, banking, hospitals, civil servants, tour and travels including the air line, cruise, and overland, which basically serves as a Host, so that the science of service and the science of courtesy become the main pillar in handling every job as stated in the Job Requirement Standard).
In this decade and the future, the matters above will become competitive and competency values for the required and demanded human resources.

Why does STIPRAM have special quality?

Competency-based curriculum, competitive and progressive, a guaranteed professional value for the reliable human resources, accomplished in a relatively short length of study.
Has an active-learning model, to open the insight, reasoning, and intellectual activity as well as develop the soul of independency. Comprehensive language and computer laboratory as well as other hotel service laboratory with complete integrated campus facilities.
Particularly for the Diploma 3 (D3) study program, a module of 30% theory and 70% practice is applied with actual and programmed measurement as students enter the first semester until the last semester through Job Orientation activity and Casual Program so that students get maximum job experience.
Graduate Evaluation is interpreted as an academic consequence to see the students’ strengths and weakness, in order to continuously improve every step through specialization of majors.
By academic and profession, the ability of STIPRAM students is prepared and aimed for the middle-high level, because they not only master the technical skills, but also the managerial skills. Even though their status is still as a student but they have been facilitated well in working at well-established tourism industries both domestic and overseas.
Provides and guide the students for their existence, independency, and self-confidence in order to grab the most respected positions in the working world in the future. Practicum integrated learning through a seating system model, can only be found at STIPRAM. All activities are free of charge and supported by the existence of 15 Inna Group Hotels. Tuition fee is very cheap compared to what students received.
